I have been playing guitar since 1995, and I have been teaching professionally for a decade. I have been fortunate enough to study under of some of the best instructors and professors in in the Chicagoland area.

I have toured the country playing music in multiple bands (and genres).

I currently run my own lessons & recording studio in the burbs of of Northern IL.

I have a degree in Arts & Entertainment Management & Marketing, in hopes to be able to provide more career ortiented advice for students who aim to play music professionally. I have kept close ties with industry, and I have started a blog in hopes to inform & protect musicians.

I've been on the board of directors (music director) for our local teen center since 2004. We raised the funds to open our doors in 2008, and we have been a successful all ages venue since then. I use this as an avenue to help young students learn about performing, booking, live sound engineering, and marketing.
