About Longineu Parsons III
Longineu W. "LP" Parsons III (born February 16, 1980) is a French-born American rock musician. He is one of the founding members of the American Pop Punk Band, Yellowcard
Longineu has been playing the drums since he was two years old and taking lessons since he was five; he played with his father, Longineu W. Parsons II in his band The Longineu Parsons Ensemble.
Longineu has been playing drums for most of his life. He has been teaching for 10 years and touring for 17 years. In that time, he has shared the stage with many artists from a variety of different styles of music. He has performed all over the world.
He has studied with Max Roach, Von Barlow, and Billy Cobham to name a few. He list the bands: Pantera, Slayer, Green Day, Nirvana, Megadeth,Miles Davis,and John Coltraine as his musical influences.
Longineu's approach to teaching is to give his students the ability to move forward with more knowledge on the drums and also to give them some new practice routines for unlocking the mind.
