Hi, my name is Bradley Stackpole and I'm a musicaholic. My fascination, or more like obsession with percussion, specifically the drum set started very early in my life. I can actually remember back to first grade, where the school would play "Classical Gas" every morning before the announcements. I remember getting in trouble for needing a new box of crayons each morning as there was something relatable and even magical about the sounds emanating from the school's, PA system. So there it started. Me tapping on any object that made a cool sound with two hands and two crayons. Eventually my tapping during class started to include one foot, then the other. Needless to say my teachers were not too thrilled about a tourette's kid, with a bent for sounds and rhythms.
In second grade i joined the school concert band learning the concept of listening and reading music, up to and including my senior year in high school. During my years in school, I had very little interest in organized sports, and as the years went by my obsession got stronger as my skill level improved. Throughout school I was involved in every musical endeavor available including; Concert band, Jazz band, Pep band, Percussion ensemble, and Marching band. Not to mention the few fellas in my grade that used to come over and jam with me during the little free time i had.
After high school, and even during i was involved in a slew of musical projects. I was 14 when i joined my first gigging band, which took some matter of convincing for my parents to be ok with me playing in bars. And since then i have been involved in numerous musical ventures such as, session work, live performance, teaching, composing, for the following list of artists including but not limited to: MK Ultra, Carousel Begins, Sara B., Mary Beth Weathington, Lunar Shade, Deviation Theory, The Thrives, A Utopian Skyline, Running from Dharma, The Midnight Drive, The Commercials, Double zero, In Wilderness, and The DB Cooper Experience.
